Freshmen Leading in Acceptance, Kindness, and Equality works to help all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, to feel accepted and loved at Texas A&M.
- FLAKE informationals will be hosted in person on the Texas A&M Campus. Our first informational will be held on September 3th, 2026 in Rudder Tower 402 from 5:30PM-6:30PM. The second informational will be held on September 15th, 2026 in Rudder Tower 402 from 5:30PM-6:30PM. The informationals are in no way mandatory, but serve as an opportunity to connect with the staff early, and will give you a chance to ask questions about the FLO before applying.
- Applications close at 11:59pm on September 18th and interviews will be held from September 23rd to September 29th.
- Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week minimum
- General and committee meetings are required weekly while extra socials, service events, and fundraisers are an extra time commitment at the member's discretion. General meetings will be every Thursday from 5:30PM-6:30PM in Rudder 407.
- Dues will be $50 in the spring and fall this year. These dues will help cover the cost of retreats, banquets, FLAKE t-shirts, and other miscellaneous expenses. There is a payment plan available to those who are in need.
- To remain a member of FLAKE, a minimum of a 2.0 GPA must be maintained throughout the fall/spring semesters.
