Position Description:
The Vice President of External Programs shall be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale and public-facing programs for the International Student Association. The Vice President of External Programs’ primary responsibility is to lead the development of events that engage the broader campus and community while promoting cultural awareness.

Coordinate and lead the planning and execution of major ISA events and external programs
Oversee programs such as Global Tailgate, Football 101, professional panels, I-Week, International Dance Night, and other public events
Collaborate with the Vice President of Outreach, Finance, and Marketing to support successful event execution
Communicate with campus partners and collaborating organizations for events and initiatives
Organize and lead External Programs Committee meetings in coordination with the President
Support the development of programs that promote cultural awareness and campus engagement
Execute duties assigned by the President and report directly to the President and ISA Advisor

Meeting Requirements:

ISA External Programs Committee Meeting	Meeting to plan and execute events and programs	Every other week or as needed (alternating with Advisor & Chair 1-on-1’s)
ISA Advisor & Chair 1-on-1’s	Meeting with ISA Advisor and President (Chair)	Every other week or as needed (alternating with External Programs Committee meetings)

Preferred Experience:

Demonstrate strong organizational and event planning skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Experience with planning events, programs, or large-scale initiatives
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to collaborate with campus partners and organizations
Ability to problem-solve and adapt in fast-paced environments
Attention to detail in logistics and event coordination
Willingness to learn and take initiative
