University Wind Symphony

Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

The organization's purpose is to: 1) Teach students about music written primarily for the wind band. 2) Teach students the basics of music theory. 3) Teach students how to sight read wind band music. 4) Teach students about historical background of composers. 5) Represent TAMU in a professional manner at all performances.

Associations

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
